Hunter S. Thompson commited suicide. I always liked this guy. It's sad, to be sure, and yet somehow fitting.
Posted by pjaussen at February 21, 2005 01:39 PMwhat i find to be so upsetting (besides the obvious) is that he lasted 67 years. you would think he would have done this earlier. maybe it was a midlife crisis turned gun instead of convertible. i really liked him too.
on another note, we watched the station agent last night upon your referral (i think at least) and it was beautiful! i loved it.
Capria and I were wondering the same thing; how does one go so long and so hard to finally commit suicide? I don't know. Anyway, glad you liked the station agent.
